Snowguard for the charging port area on the Cupra Formentor (Facelift) 2024-

The guard hooks onto the hinge arm and locks in place with a twist knob at the charging flap's locking mechanism, protecting the area from unwanted snow buildup.

The guard comes in one version – the Standard version also works well with Charge Amps cables.

Standard – For home charging – This version has a removable frame. With the frame removed, the opening becomes 5 mm wider all around, for cables with larger plug housings.

Here is a video showing how it works, although on a BMW i4.

The guard is used while charging and then removed so the original flap can close.
