Snowguard for the charging port area on Polestar 2. The guard hooks onto the flap’s hinge arm and clicks/hangs onto the rubber-covered locking pin, protecting the area from unwanted snow buildup. The button used to release the charging cable is also protected from snow but can still be operated by pressing the cable icon on the snow guard.
Available versions:
Standard – Includes a removable frame. When the frame is removed, the opening becomes 5 mm wider all around, accommodating cables with larger plugs.
CCS – Features a removable cover for charging with CCS (DC/fast-charging) connectors.
Charge Amp – Includes a removable cover for charging with Charge Amp cables/connectors.
The Snowguard is used during charging and removed afterwards so the original flap can close properly.
