Snowguard - Volvo C40/EC40 & XC40/EX40

Snowguard for the charging port area on the fully electric (BEV) Volvo C40/EC40 & XC40/EX40.

The guard hooks onto the flap’s hinge arm and clicks/hangs onto the rubber-covered locking pin, protecting the area from unwanted snow buildup.
The button used to release the charging cable is also protected from snow but can still be operated by pressing the cable icon on the snow guard.

Available in three versions:

Standard – For home charging.
This version includes a removable frame. When the frame is removed, the opening becomes 5 mm wider all around, accommodating cables with larger plugs.

CCS – For those who home-charge and also use fast chargers.
This version features a removable cover for charging with CCS (DC/fast-charging) connectors.

Charge Amps – For users with a Charge Amps wallbox/cable.
This version includes a removable cover for charging with Charge Amps cables/connectors.

The Snowguard is used during charging and removed afterwards so the original flap can close properly.
