A new version of the popular ID4/ID5 shield is here! The new version is equipped with a knob that locks the snowguard in place during charging. The area around the charging port is protected from unwanted amounts of snow, and the locking pin is completely protected.
The protection is available in three different versions: Standard - For home chargers - This cover has a removable frame. Removing the frame increases the opening by 5mm all around - for cables with larger sheathing. CCS - For the home charger that also fast-charges - This cover has a removable hatch for charging with a CCS connector (DC/fast charger). Charge Amp - For home chargers that have a charging box/cable from Charge Amp - This cover has a removable hatch for charging with a cable/connector from Charge Amp.
The Snowguard is used during charging and removed afterwards so the original flap can close properly.
