Snowguard - BMW i5 Sedan

The Snowguard hooks onto the hinge arm and is secured using a knob at the charging flap's locking mechanism, protecting the compartment from unwanted amounts of snow.

The Snowguard for the i5 Touring is available here The guard is available in three different versions:

• Standard - For the home charger - This guard has a removable frame. If the frame is taken out, the opening becomes $5\text{mm}$ larger all around - for cables with a larger handle (plug).

• CCS - For the home charger that also supports fast charging - This guard has a removable hatch/cover for charging with a CCS connector (DC/fast charger).

• Charge Amp - For the home charger that uses a charging station/cable from Charge Amp - This guard has a removable hatch/cover for charging with a cable/connector from Charge Amp.

The Snowguard are used during charging and is then removed so that the original flap can be closed.
